The VORTEX TUNNEL® is a mind-blowing attraction, guaranteed to test your senses from the creative minds of
GEP Productions.
This tunnel is constructed of five (5) high grade aluminum, nine foot (9') diameter rings that will not warp or rust when in use or in storage.
For safety, these rings are lined with a flame-retardant fabric.
The fabric Velcro's onto the rings and is painted in florescent colors to produce a number of different visual effects.
There are three (3) sets of rollers and a gear motor that allows the aluminum tunnel to rotate.
For added protection, the motor has a friction drive that will stop turning when an excessive amount of resistance is applied.
There is a twenty foot (20') long, twenty-eight inch (28") wide bridge walkway with handrails that allow you to pass through the tunnel.
The tunnel has three 4' black light fixtures on each side of the bridge (total of 6) to illuminate the painted artwork.
(Please note that the fixtures do not include the black light bulbs.)
An ADA (Americans with Disabilities) approved bridge, thirty-six inches (36") wide is also available for companies that need wheelchair accessibility.
Purchasing our optional transparent bridge floor can enhance the VORTEX effect.
In addition, purchasing our mirror panels for the end of the tunnel will increase the illusion of depth.
Our most recent fabric is an awesome, brand new "Three Dimensional" galactic paint scheme, which effects can be viewed wearing special 3-D glasses!
Just watch your step!!! Blank fabrics are also available that will allow you to create other scenes for your attraction.
